Check out the latest spread in Vogue Italia dedicated to the chocolate beauty, photographed by Ellen Von Unwerth. Donning kinked afro's, full luscious lips, bright smiles with sparkling the eyes the international models offer a 'tribute' to 'black beauties (who) radiate with poise and multidimensional splendor' writes Fashion editor Claire Slumers. Though we appreciate the conscious effort made by fashion industry to embrace black models, is the effort to literal in order to make a point? Either way take a look at the images and enjoy! The Young, Black and Fabulous!

Vogue fills it's March issue pages with some of Hollywood's sexist chocolate artists! The shoot titled 'The Life Rhapsodic' features singer John Legend, actor Anthony Mackie, author Colson Whitehead and dancers Savion Glover and Antonio Douthit; the guys are accompanied by models Jourdan Dunn, Chanel Iman, Ajak Deng, Joan Smalls, Arlenis Sosa and Anais Mali. The brown skin beauties were styled by Edward Enniful in colorful bohemian inspired spring look!

Vogue Italia : Black Allure

Vogue Magazine new February spread features exclusively a portfolio of all black models in standing in their glory. Directed by Franca Suzzani the fashion shoot has hints of the bygone era, an exudes an aristocratic decadence and sensual glam that the 1920s harlem renaissence movement was notorious for!

The models featured an international line with Chanel Iman, Jourdan Dunn, Kinee Diouf, Ajek Deng, Georgie Baddie, Mia Aminata Niara, Rose Cordero and Melodie

Monrose.

The models grace the pages of the 20 page portfolio, onlookers are left to marvel and left once again "in admiration with the

richness and fullness of Black female beauty"!!
