Well it's easy to say, you don't have to actually win X-factor to Win!!! Cher Lloyd managed to snag herself a record deal with JayZ's record label ROC Nation just as the year 2010 ended. Despite her duet and close affiliation with Black Eyed Pea''s star Will.I.Am, from her mentor (Cheryl Cole), Jay was able to snatch the pop-star in training from right under his nose.It was her cover version of a 'Hard Knock Life' on X-factor, a song Jay covered in early 2000,that impressed and caught the eye of Beyonce's hubby! Despite losing Cher, whom Will stated he had wanted to sign right away, he's still managed to collaborate with her, and tweeted:
'Hey cher, when should we release the song we recorded in london???...(Its a smasher)'
- who know's what hot single is next in the pipeline!
I wonder if we'll see a feature from newest Roc recruit Willow Smith or their golden girl
